Holy Pirates opener, a tight, on-point rendition of this now-rare instrumental. A total indicator of how in-synch the band was towards the end of the summer 2000 tour.
The jam between Lost and Dudleys is intriguing and eerie as well, showing a lot of patience.
Black and White features a lot of vocal scatting from Kang at the beginning, then at about the 7 minute mark the band switches gears and starts a slow, spacy jam that's eventually transforms into the traditional Black and White jam. At 15 minutes it shifts and again at about 20 minutes before moving into Search. Really nice stuff.
Very clean soloing by Kang on the Outside Inside 2nd set opener and the closing jam has Kyle teasing Rhum N Zouc before they actually go into it.
Let it Go is actually a pretty nice Kyle ballad, which unfortunately disappeared from the rotation in 2004.
Wake Up is one of my favorite songs and this extended version is a great example of why. First Kyle, then Kang drive the jam. An effortlessly funky jam brings them into the Shine closer, a song that saw some of its best versions performed in 2000. The jam on this one is somewhat minimalist, with lots of repetitive mandolin until the final climax.
